ESCHE advised SOCOTEC on the legal aspects of the acquisition of TRIGIS GeoServices

SOCOTEC Deutschland, the German holding of French based SOCOTEC Group has agreed on the acquisition of a majority stake in TRIGIS GeoServices GmbH, a market leading provider of geodata and surveying services. Esche advised its long-standing client SOCOTEC on the legal aspects of the transaction.

Through the acquisition of TRIGIS, SOCOTEC Germany is adding a 4th line of business, focused on geodata, mapping and geomonitoring, to its existing business lines: infrastructure, building and explosive ordnance detection. With more than specialized 300 employees, TRIGIS and its subsidiaries render geomonitoring, ground monitoring, large-scale mapping, site plan creation, monitoring point planning, 3D digital terrain models, and thermal imaging services to their customers, particularly in the utilities and energy sectors. TRIGIS operates from its headquarter in Korbußen, Thuringia, and additional offices throughout Germany.

ESCHE advised SOCOTEC on the legal aspects of the transaction, including the legal due diligence, drafting and negotiation of the transaction documentation and regulatory proceedings. ESCHE cooperated in the transaction with Translink Corporate Finance (M&A) and 8 Advisory (Financial and Tax).
