ESCHE advises TÜV NORD GROUP in acquiring a majority stake in CE-CON GmbH
TÜV NORD GROUP strengthens its foothold in the business area of functional security through a majority stake in CE-CON GmbH. ESCHE advised TÜV NORD GROUP in this transaction in legal, tax and financial matters.
Esche Schümann Commichau has advised TÜV NORD GROUP in legal, tax and financial aspects in its acquisition of a majority stake in CE-CON GmbH with head office in Bremen and further offices in Augsburg and Wilmington, USA.
CE-CON is a service provider with a focus on machine and plant safety whose portfolio comprises the SaaS-application „CE-CON Safety“ that automates risk and conformity assessments. With this acquisition, TÜV NORD GROUP strengthens its position as a leading provider of functional security solutions and gains access to a scalable software for risk and conformity assessments.
CE-CON is currently managed by the founders and directors Maren Handwerk and Jörg Handwerk who will continue to run CE-CON as managing directors and minority shareholders also after the majority participation of TÜV NORD GROUP.
