ESCHE advised DAHEIM – Pflegedienst GmbH on its acquisition of the ‘Pflegende Hände’ care service
DAHEIM – Pflegedienst GmbH, a portfolio company of Alvia Capital, has acquired ‘Pflegende Hände’, a care service based in Bad Schwartau. ESCHE provided DAHEIM with legal advice on this transaction.
As part of a succession plan, the DAHEIM Group from Lübeck will take over the business operations of the home care service 'Pflegende Hände' with effect from 1 July 2026.
Founded over 30 years ago by Silke Horn, the ‘Pflegende Hände’ home care service provides care for patients in Bad Schwartau and the surrounding area. It has established itself as a reliable partner for home care services in the region.
The DAHEIM Group, which is also based in Lübeck, employs over 100 people. With its wide range of services, including home nursing, intensive care, specialised home care, and wound management, it is one of the leading care providers in Schleswig-Holstein. Since 2025, DAHEIM has been part of the Alvia Group, a long-term-oriented network of companies in the health and social care sector.
Through this acquisition, DAHEIM has secured the ongoing operation of a well-established care service with a strong regional presence in Bad Schwartau, while also pursuing its growth strategy beyond the borders of Lübeck.
ESCHE advised DAHEIM on the legal aspects of the transaction. ESCHE previously assisted Alvia Capital with the acquisition of the DAHEIM Group in 2025.
The ESCHE team working on this transaction was led by M&A partner Dr Stephan Bauer and comprised employment law partner Stefan Gatz and corporate, M&A associate Philipp Hesprich.
