JUVE Awards 2026: ESCHE named 'Law Firm of the Year for Mid-Sized Companies'
Esche Schümann Commichau received the 'Law Firm of the Year for Mid-Sized Companies' award at the 2026 JUVE Awards. The awards ceremony took place on 29 October in Frankfurt am Main. In addition to winning the award for mid-sized companies, ESCHE was also nominated for the 'Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law' award.
During the ceremony, the JUVE editorial team praised the firm's dynamic growth. Internal promotions have placed young attorneys in positions of responsibility, thereby strengthening team spirit within the firm. The firm’s expansion into new practice areas, particularly compliance investigations, restructurings and transactions, as well as its AI initiative, were also recognised. According to the JUVE editorial team, ESCHE “demonstrates that tradition and modernity need not be a contradiction”.
This award recognises ESCHE’s strategic and professional development. It highlights how the firm combines its long-standing tradition with new ideas and actively embraces change. The award is also a collective achievement of the entire firm, which thrives on the commitment and collaboration of all its employees, regardless of their level, department, or practice area. Key elements of this journey include fostering the next generation, further developing the firm’s advisory services, and leveraging new technologies.
ESCHE received further accolades as part of the JUVE rankings: As well as being named 'Law Firm of the Year in Northern Germany', its tax practice received a five-star rating in the current JUVE Tax Handbook for the second year running. This recognition highlights ESCHE’s continuous development in both legal and tax fields.
