ESCHE continues to grow: Three new partners and two associated partners as of 1st January 2026
At the turn of the year, Esche Schümann Commichau is expanding its partnership and appointing Marc Heinrich, Stefan Gatz and Florian Ludwig as new partners. Marie-Louis Schott and Elena Esche are also being appointed as associated partners.

Appointment of three new partners
Marc Heinrich is a solicitor, specialist in insolvency and restructuring law, and insolvency administrator. He is appointed as an insolvency administrator by several courts in northern Germany.
Stefan Gatz is a lawyer and specialist in labour law. Stefan Gatz advises companies comprehensively on all labour law issues – including in the context of transactions – as well as on internal investigations, the design of whistleblower systems and HR compliance.
Florian Ludwig is a certified public accountant, tax advisor and sustainability auditor (IDW). Florian Ludwig has extensive experience in annual and consolidated financial statements as well as ESG reporting. He advises on compliance, risk management and internal control systems.
Appointment of two new associated partners
Marie-Louis Schott is a tax advisor and specialist advisor for international tax law. Marie-Louis Schott specialises in tax consulting for corporations and advises in particular on international transactions as well as M&A and restructuring processes. She provides expert support to companies on complex tax issues.
Elena Esche is a tax advisor and specialist in international tax law. Ms Esche advises medium-sized family businesses, shareholders and high net worth individuals on tax issues. She supports them with ongoing tax advice, restructuring and the planning and implementation of complex succession and inheritance tax concepts.
